Licensing
The panel is sold by subscription. A license sets how many panel installations it covers and, for each installation, how many nodes and game servers it may run, plus the plan's extra features (add-ons, backups, webhooks, no “Powered by”). How this shows up in the panel — Modules.
License key
A key looks like GPL-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and is shown once — after a trial starts, after a paid order, or when you take a new one. The portal stores only its hash, so if the key is lost take a new one in Licenses (Get a new key): the old key stops working, and panels using it stop renewing until you enter the new key.
Enter the key in the panel under System → License together with the panel's domain.
How the panel renews
- Once a day the panel sends its key, installation ID and domain to this portal and receives a signed license file.
- The file is bound to that installation and domain — it can't be copied to another panel.
- A file is valid for 7 days, so a portal or network outage of a few days changes nothing.
- The panel's version and its numbers of nodes and servers are shown in Installations.
Installations
Each panel that renews with a key takes an installation slot on its license. A panel moved to a new server with a fresh install is a new installation — free the old slot in Installations if the license has no spare one. A panel restored from its own backup keeps its installation ID.
An installation's domain is unique: if renewal fails with “another installation already uses this domain”, delete or unlink the old installation in the portal.
Limits
- Nodes count while registered (even offline); game servers count until they are deleted (even stopped).
- Over the limit the panel refuses only new things: a new node or a new server. Nothing running is stopped.
- After a downgrade there are 14 days of grace with a banner. After that only the oldest servers up to the limit can be started; the rest keep running until they stop.
- Administrators see the reason. Your customers see only a neutral “Server creation is temporarily unavailable, contact support” — never the words “license” or “subscription”.
When the subscription ends
- The paid period ends — 14 days of grace: everything works, administrators see a banner.
- After the grace period the panel is locked for changes: no new servers, nodes or catalog changes; a stopped server won't start again.
- Reading works, and game servers that are running keep running — your customers' players aren't cut off.
Entering a valid key or renewing the subscription unlocks the panel immediately. A revoked license stops renewing; the panel's last file runs out within a week.
Trial
10 days, 1 node, 5 game servers, “Powered by” shown. One trial per account. It is taken in the panel's setup wizard or in Licenses. When it ends, the panel locks the same way as after a subscription; a paid key lifts the lock right away.
Offline license
For a network without access to the portal, plans with the offline option (Enterprise) get a license file instead of online renewal. Open a ticket in Support with the installation ID and domain from the panel's System → License page; paste the file you receive on the same page under License file. It is valid until the end of the paid period plus 14 days and is not renewed automatically — request a new one after paying for the next period.
