License agreement

1. Definitions

• "Software" — the GameNodeX control panel (Master), the game node agent, the billing integration module, their updates, documentation and accompanying files.
• "Portal" — the gamenodex.com website with the customer dashboard where licenses are issued, releases are published and support is provided.
• "License" — the right to use the Software under the terms of the selected plan.
• "Key" — the license key with which a panel installation obtains its license file from the Portal.
• "Installation" — a separate instance of the panel that is licensed with a Key and has its own installation ID.
• "Plan" — the License terms published on the Portal: period, price, number of installations, nodes and game servers, and available features.
• "Your customers" — the people to whom you provide game servers or other services using the Software.

2. Grant of license

The Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for the paid period (or while on the free plan) and within the limits of your Plan.

You may:

• install the Software on your own or rented servers, up to the number allowed by your Plan;
• use it commercially, including to provide game hosting services to Your customers;
• brand the panel as your own, to the extent your Plan allows;
• make backups of the Software and its data for your own needs.

The Software is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property rights in it, including the code, interface, documentation and trademarks, remain with the Licensor. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Restrictions

Unless expressly permitted by this Agreement or by applicable law, you may not:

• circumvent, disable or modify the license check or the Plan limits;
• share a Key or license file with third parties, or use one Key on more installations than your Plan allows;
• sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise distribute the Software itself (providing hosting services to Your customers with it is not distribution);
• decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code;
• remove copyright notices; the "Powered by" mark may be turned off only on Plans that include this option;
• use the Software for unlawful activities or to infringe the rights of others.

4. Portal account

A Portal account is required to obtain a License. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password and Keys confidential, and you are responsible for actions taken with your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

A Key is shown once; the Portal stores only its hash. If a Key is lost or compromised, issue a new one in the dashboard — the old one stops working. Report unauthorized access to your account to support@gamenodex.com.

5. Plans and payment

Current Plans, prices and limits are published on the Portal. A paid License is issued for the paid period (a month or a year) once payment is confirmed. The free plan and the trial are offered on the terms stated on the Portal and may be changed or discontinued for new users.

Price changes do not affect a period that is already paid. When you downgrade, the new Plan limits apply after the grace period described in the documentation.

Refund requests are handled through support. Where applicable law grants you a right to a refund, we honor it in full.

6. Licensing

Using the Software requires a valid License. The License term and Plan limits are enforced by the Software automatically. You agree not to interfere with the licensing mechanism.

7. Expiry and suspension

When a paid period ends, a 14-day grace period begins during which the panel works fully. After that, changes in the panel are blocked (creating servers, adding nodes and so on), but data remains readable and game servers that are already running keep running. Renewing the subscription or entering a valid Key lifts the block.

We may revoke a License without refund if you materially breach this Agreement (including circumventing the license check or sharing a Key) and do not cure the breach within a reasonable time after notice. A revoked license is no longer renewed.

8. Updates and support

While your License is active, you get the Software updates published on the Portal and support through tickets in the dashboard. The scope of support and response times depend on your Plan. We may change, add or remove features in new versions.

9. Third-party components and content

The Software includes open-source components distributed under their own licenses; those terms prevail for the respective components.

Games, game servers, container images, mods and plugins (including those downloaded from Steam Workshop and other catalogs) belong to their respective owners. You are responsible for complying with their licenses and rules, including rules on commercial server hosting.

10. Your customers and their data

You provide services to Your customers on your own behalf and are responsible to them, including for your agreements with them, the processing of their personal data and the contents of their servers. Your customers’ data is stored in your panel installation; the Licensor has no access to it and is not its controller.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or fit for your particular purpose. You are responsible for backing up your data and securing your servers.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data or goodwill arising from the use of or inability to use the Software. The Licensor’s total liability under this Agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the License in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where the law prohibits them, including in cases of intent.

13. Term and changes

This Agreement is effective from acceptance until your License ends. You may terminate it at any time by ceasing to use and deleting the Software. On termination you must stop using the Software; the provisions on limitation of liability and disputes survive.

We may change this Agreement by publishing a new version on this page. We announce material changes in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Software after that means you accept the new version.

14. Disputes

Disputes are resolved through negotiation. Before going to court, a party sends the other a written claim (to the Licensor at support@gamenodex.com); the response period is 30 days. Disputes that are not settled go to the courts at the Licensor’s location, unless mandatory law, including consumer protection law, provides otherwise.
